Well, it had been before parallels desktop 11 came through. It’s a great utility that is used around the time if you need to purchase another laptop simply to use windows in order to do tasks on windows. Now you don’t have to buy a different computer system to set up windows and focus on it.
Frankly, I think that is pure money grabbing if that is the case since any sensible small business must have a backup plan in the event of HDD failure. To draw this out further, if my HDD crashes are you saying if I only have one license I can't use my Windows VM again until the iMac is repaired, which could take days or weeks due to the complexity in repairing an iMac these days. I would like some real clarity on this please. I do not see any financial detriment to Parallels provided there is no concurrent usage and there is only one person using the one licence.
