However, landed on this page and downloaded the Microsoft Support and Recovery Assistant for Office 365 program linked above on the laptop, and after a few minutes it had the employee's account properly configured! Literally astonishing. Would recommend folks having this problem start by using the program noted above, May help you to avoid a lot of registry work.
